Chicken Schnitzel

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken Breasts (8 pieces)
  • 1/3 cup Plain Flour
  • 1/3 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg + Splash Milk (egg wash)

Place flour, breadcrumbs and egg wash into separate containers (chicken will be placed into these)

Take one piece of chicken, coat in flour, egg wash, and then breadcrumbs. Repeat for all pieces.

Cover and let it set in the fridge for 30 minutes

On a low heat, pour oil in pan so it covers about 1-2cm of the base. Place chicken in and cook for 6 minutes on one side, and 4 minutes on the other (depending on size of the breast).

Place onto a paper towel and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Storage

Store in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
