
3 Ingredient Protein Bagels

Ingredients
- 2 cups plain flower
- 2 cups high protein plain greek yoghurt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg + splash milk (egg wash)
Method
Sift flour, and stir in yoghurt 1 cup at a time. Add baking powder.
Once mixture starts to form a dough, kneed with your hands until it sticks together.
If mixture is too wet, add flour, if too dry, add yoghurt.
Place dough onto a floured surface and kneed for a few minutes. Roll dough into a sausage shape and cut into 6 pieces.
Form a bagel shape by poking a hole in the middle and forming and circle. Place onto baking tray and brush with egg wash. Cover with any additional toppings you like (bagel seasoning, salt, cheese, jalepenos).
Bake for 10 minutes @180 (or until golden brown). Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
Tips
To prevent dough from sticking to your hands, ensure your hands are damp when handling the dough.
Additional toppings
- Nutella – flatten the dough, spread the nutella, and roll into a scroll shape
- Blueberry – mix frozen blueberries within the dough and form into bagels
- Vegemite and Cheese – flatten dough, spread vegemite and cheese, and roll into a scroll shape
